![]() Any seeds and animal herds that you discovered before are also shown on the map (animal herds move around) so if you're looking for one in particular, you can go straight to it.ħ. Seeds have to be found, but once you've found them, you can buy them. Tools and seeds are kept separate from your inventory, so you can harvest as much as you like. Your produce improves the more you harvest it, with even the plants looking healthier.Ħ. ![]() You also get to pick where your hut and other key buildings are located, meaning you can have your hut right next to the field and put the toolmaker's quarry a short walk away.ĥ. ![]() Once they finish, you get a free copy of that building/machine (upgrades and subsequent buildings need materials, but you don't have to wait around to try out the new invention). People in your tribe research ideas for new buildings/machines. You also have 100% control over when breeding happens and with which pair.Ĥ. Breeding enables you to improve specs, such as speed, produce quality and how often you get the produce. You can ride just about any tamed farm animal and breed them. The map also has little icons reminding you who does what (clothes trader, decorations trader, seeds etc).ģ. Not only that, but if you're looking for a particular NPC, the game will highlight the map and center it over their location, so you know where to go, so there's no more wandering around for ages trying to find someone to turn in a quest. Some are easier than others, but you can also identify any previously caught fish and avoid them (so no more wrestling with minigames only to catch the same fish for the hundredth time).Ģ. Fishing offers you a random choice of several fish, and you pick which one to try and catch. I got it and am hooked! There are plenty of improvements over typical farming games.ġ.
